The Partners.

We act in all areas of State and Commonwealth criminal law, with particular expertise in serious and complex matters.

Lindsay Stankovic

Partner

A skilled and determined advocate, Lindsay appears regularly in all Courts across New South Wales. Her practice is focused on complex and serious indictable matters, including allegations of murder and manslaughter, sexual assault, intimate partner violence, drug supply and importation, offences of violence and white-collar crime. She has extensive experience representing clients in contested bail applications, sentence proceedings, jury trials and appeals.

Lindsay understands that thorough preparation of the defence case is essential to achieving the best outcome. She approaches every case with precision and foresight, carefully reviewing the evidence to identify details and inconsistencies that undermine the prosecution case. By identifying weaknesses early, Lindsay strategically positions her clients to benefit from the strongest possible defence.

Essential to Lindsay’s practice is ensuring her clients’ voices are heard and their story is presented with authenticity and conviction. She takes the time to listen to her clients, understand their background and prepare evidence that will support their case. She adopts a sensitive yet uncompromising approach, providing reassurance and support to her clients while they move through each stage of the criminal justice process.

Outside her Courtroom advocacy, Lindsay works closely with a trusted network of highly regarded barristers and forensic experts. She is proactive in engaging the right people early to ensure her client’s interests are properly advanced, and the best available outcome is achieved.

Lindsay’s accomplishments and expertise have received consistent peer recognition. In 2023, Lindsay was a finalist in the Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 awards (Criminal Law), and in 2024 and 2025 she was listed as a Criminal Law Rising Star in Doyle’s Guide. She holds a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours and began her career as an Associate in the District Court to his Honour Judge Kent QC.
